Catalyst #AdventureSnaps
Catalyst is a lifestyle accessories brand created by Josh Wright and June Lai. The brand creates waterproof iPhone cases and accessories for all of life’s adventures. Founded on the idea of creating iconic products that enable people to explore and share their world, Catalyst offers the highest level of performance accessories with the best price for their customers.
Objectives:
- Encourage and garner user generated content
- Ignite social conversations about Catalyst with top influencers, prospective customers and potential retailers
- Build relationships with parallel brands for additional social exposure
Strategy:
Partner with outdoor accessories brand Teton Sports and their brand ambassadors for an Instagram photo contest. The contest would run in two parts including a voting component giving finalists a chance to share the contest with their followers.
Results:
#AdventureSnaps produced over 900 unique entries and over 20,000 votes. The contest helped increase Catalyst’s social media process and following across multiple platforms.
